Euphoria 2023, a spectacular event held during the month of January 2023, marked a remarkable celebration that resonated across our North and East campuses. This event brought together a diverse community to share in the festive spirit and to support the #TreesofHope2023 initiative, to make it a better world, together. The event was held across 5 campuses spanning 3 different cities. With over 4500 participants, the event created a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, celebrations, and entertainment.

Holi Celebration

Holi celebration spanned across three cities and encompassed five campuses, drawing the participation of over 4,500 people. The event created lasting memories for our tenants and employees, who not only enjoyed the vibrant festival of colours but also strengthened their sense of community. The festivities included captivating dance performances, soulful fusion and folk music, engaging emcee interactions, and a delightful assortment of food stalls set against a bustling flea market backdrop. These elements came together to transform our campuses into cultural hubs, promoting unity and cultural inclusivity. These celebrations serve as a poignant reminder of the unifying power of festive events, further emphasizing our dedication to fostering a dynamic and diverse workplace environment.

Yoga and Zumba Sessions

As part of our routine tenant engagement efforts, we conducted a month-long program offering complimentary Yoga and Zumba sessions for tenant employees. These sessions were led by experienced instructors. They were conveniently scheduled in both morning and evening slots, making them accessible to all tenants and employees at our Gurugram and Noida campuses. This initiative garnered an enthusiastic response, with more than 800 individuals participating and taking a significant step toward embracing a healthier lifestyle.

Food Court Inauguration

At Brookfield Properties, we are committed to creating dynamic environments that enhance the overall experience for our community across our campuses. In alignment with our mission to reimagine spaces that strengthen connection and collaboration, we introduced the Food Court at New Amenity Block, at Candor TechSpace, Sector 48, Gurugram campus.

Ploggers Drive

Running is good for your health. Picking up litter is good for the planet’s health. Why not combine the two? That is the idea behind ‘plogging’, a fitness trend where people (or ‘ploggers’) pick up litter while jogging. Plogging not only helps make the Earth cleaner, but also benefits our own health.To promote fitness and cleanliness among urban millennials, Candor TechSpace joined hands with Ploggers of India to organise a ‘plogging’ drive at its campuses in Gurugram and Noida. The idea was to encourage participants to pick up the litter (especially plastic waste) when jogging, as part of their regular routine.
The event kicked off with a briefing about the plan for the day and a light, warm-up activity for 15 minutes. This was followed by a plogging drive for 30-40 minutes which saw 100 participants plogging over an approximately 3-km stretch around each campus and collecting 30-40 bags of litter. The drive culminated with an insightful discussion on the impact of plastic on the environment and ways to avoid the use of single-use plastic. It also empowered them to engage with the community by letting them raise awareness through interactive dialogues.

Pride March

Strength through diversity’ is one of the key tenets at Brookfield Properties. Our culture is defined by collaboration and equal representation at all levels. This year, we held our first annual Pride March, to celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community. With over 2300+ registrations and 1500+ participants across five cities walking along, it was a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and equality in their beautiful forms. We painted the campuses with the vibrant colors of pride, accompanied by the tunes of the jukebox and the uplifting beats of the brass band. The march challenged prejudices, and served as a reminder that every person deserves respect, dignity and equal treatment. To ensure the event generates long-term societal change, we announced an innovative initiative in collaboration with the Pride Circle Foundation: PrideED aims to provide opportunities for students to work on projects that promote LGBTQIA+ inclusion in society. The fellowship program has already attracted talented students, and we plan to make significant investments to support their efforts. We believe that creating an inclusive and supportive culture is essential, not just on our campuses but also in society at large. This initiative represents our commitment to fostering an environment where all can truly thrive, with equal respect and opportunities at their workplace.

Qriosity

Community and collaboration are at the core of what we do, creating spaces where people truly want to be. Commencing on the eve of India's 77th Independence Day, Qriosity 2023 unfolded across seven cities, culminating in a grand event at Candor TechSpace, Sector 21, Gurugram. This initiative, featuring over 2000 participants paying homage to India's history, present, and future, was meticulously designed to nurture a positive corporate culture and foster a sense of camaraderie and teamwork among all participants. At Brookfield Properties, we create inspiring holistic experiences that redefine how people and places come together.

VR Verse

We embarked on an exciting journey into futuristic entertainment with the launch of the VR Verse engagement zone. This innovative event offered a virtual gaming experience for our tenants and employees. The inauguration of the VR Verse zone was graced by Mr. Girish Kumar, VP, Property Services at NatWest Group. Inside this immersive space, participants had the opportunity to dive into a world of AI-powered games. Among the highlights were the VR Boxing Ring, fostering healthy competition, and VR Walk the Board, which defied gravity to provide an exhilarating walking experience. The VR Rollercoaster with its gravity-defying twists was an exhilarating experience. This unique experiential event drew participation of over 250 individuals, strengthening our commitment to providing innovative technology-driven experiences for our tenant employees.

Trees of Hope

Brookfield Properties partnered with Smile Foundation, a Mumbai-based non-profit organization, to launch the ‘Trees of Hope’ 2023 initiative to support child education. As a part of the initiative, ‘Trees of Hope’ were installed in 14 campuses across eight cities. These installations became center points to connect, collaborate, and drive meaningful conversations. For every ten posts uploaded on social media with the hashtag TreesofHope2023, Brookfield Properties pledged to sponsor a child's education. The cause brought our employees, tenant network, and community members together.
