² For all unclaimed distribution amounts prior to the Circular No. SEBI/HO/DDHS-RAC-1/P/CIR/2023/177 dated November 8, 2023 issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Circular) coming into effect, date when unclaimed amount was transferred would be March 1, 2024, i.e., the date on which this Circular comes into effect. Any amount transferred to the unpaid distribution account which remains unpaid or unclaimed for a period of seven years from the due date of such transfer (i.e. March 1, 2024 for all unclaimed amounts prior to the Circular coming into effect), shall be transferred along with interest accrued, if any, to the Investor Protection and Education Fund within thirty days from the date of expiry of seven years.
